Enterprise Identity Analyst
- Pay Rate: $58.82/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 1 month and 16 days, with the possibility of an extension

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Enterprise Identity Analyst in this role will need to be a strong team player with a knack for solving complex problems and translating technical information into action items. You’ll be accountable for assessing current Identity and Access processes and working with the team to implement IAM best practices. You will quickly become an expert in existing access workflows and work in partnership with the larger Enterprise Identity & Application Security team to develop new ones.
Because cybersecurity operates beyond a standard 9-to-5, this role requires participation in an after-hours on-call rotation and schedule flexibility, which we actively support with a mutual give-and-take approach to your working hours.
This role will be an operational backfill role in the team and the role will be fulfilling a large volume of operational tasks that are requested from a service desk queue. The individual will need to have a strong attention to detail, and be able to complete work quickly while adhering strictly to established processes.
Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Utilize ServiceNow to fulfill a high volume of access requests with precision and efficiency, maintaining a strong attention to detail while adhering strictly to established processes.
- Identity Management: Perform mass directory changes and administrative tasks within Active Directory, leveraging PowerShell to automate manual workflows where possible.
- Process Improvement: Actively assess identity and access workflows to identify bottlenecks and work with the team to implement IAM best practices.
- Security Advocacy: Promote the Principle of Least Privilege and other secure access management practices across the organization.
- Collaboration: Act as a representative of the Enterprise Identity & Application Security team, building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and translating technical access controls into clear business terms.
Your Knowledge and Skills
- Core Identity Tools: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and experience in an IT Enterprise environment.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to document standard operating procedures and collaborate across diverse teams.
- Process Discipline: Proven ability to perform high volumes of repetitive tasks following standard documentation without sacrificing quality.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Strong researching and troubleshooting skills within Windows, MacOS, or Linux environments.
- Automation Mindset: Experience using PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting, or APIs to automate identity lifecycle management is considered a significant asset.
Qualifications
- 1 year of general experience in an IT Enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and familiarity with ITIL v4 frameworks.
- Foundational understanding of common security principles (e.g., Least Privilege, IAM lifecycle).
- Proven capability to map, translate, and improve technical processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
- Proven capability to map, translate, and improve processes is considered an asset.
- Proven researching and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong familiarity with Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems is considered an asset.
- Experience with Python, Shell scripting, or APIs for automating identity lifecycle management is considered an asset.
- Strong soft skills with the ability to translate technical access controls into business terms and collaborate across teams.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity or 2-year diploma in Information Technology, Computer Systems Technology, or Cybersecurity
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, ITIL) or equivalent professional experience
