Clerk II
- Pay Rate: $15.00-$16.00/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Location: Houston, TX 77079 (Hybrid)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
- This position is responsible for performing clerical duties related to the relevant stages of the Records Lifecycle.
- These stages involve the Capture, Storage, Management, and Maintenance of Company records including, but not limited to, records intake and inventory, data entry, indexing, and enhancing records-related metadata.
Responsibilities
- Create record inventories in SharePoint or Excel, this includes, but is not limited to CD's, Microfiche (Reels & Index cards), boxes & binders.
- Review and identify record metadata for scanned images.
- Compare record documents across multiple sources, assessing discrepancies, including duplicate comparisons for physical vs. electronic.
- Prepare boxes for offsite storage
- Add/Update Box numbers in FRMS & generate Box Reports
- Update all Project/Tasks Trackers as required
- Assist in folder label creation and application
- Complete QA/QC of scanned images
- Assist with special records tasks, including data scrubbing and record request research.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Records Clerk
- 5-10 years of records clerk/filing experience.
- General knowledge of the Records Lifecycle, records filing and retrieval, and retention.
- Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
- Experience utilizing the Microsoft Suite of applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Experience utilizing SharePoint, including updating SharePoint Lists (required)
- Experience or skills in using general office equipment, copiers, and scanning machines
- Physically able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of Pipeline or Facility records management (preferred)
