Financial Analyst

· Reports to: Controller
About the Role
- Hands-on Financial Analyst role supporting accounting, reporting, and audits
- Work closely with the Controller in a lean, collaborative team
- Strong focus on ERP systems, financial reporting, and compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle accounting:
- Journal entries
- Account reconciliations
- Month-end & year-end close
- Prepare financial statements (IFRS / GAAP)
- Support external audits and ensure compliance
- Work with ERP systems for reporting and data accuracy
- Perform budget vs actual analysis and variance explanations
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes
Must-Have Requirements
- CPA in progress (Canada) or recently completed
- Strong ERP system experience (hands-on)
- Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) / GAAP
- QuickBooks experience
- 3+ years of experience in accounting/financial reporting
- Experience with audits and financial compliance
Nice to Have
- ERP implementation or migration experience
- Telecom or project-based industry experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $80,000 – $85,000
