Trade Compliance Analyst
- Pay Rate: $41.00 – $47.00/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Location: Spring, TX 77389 (Onsite)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
- Responsible for importing, cleansing, validating and analyzing data with the purpose of understanding or drawing conclusions from the data.
- May consolidate and/or present data in charts, graphs, or tables.
- Focused on improving data quality. Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
- This position would typically include a professional Data Analyst.
Responsibilities
- Provide interpretation services of Restricted Party Screening results via data analysis, review of potential sanctions, eliminating false positives.
- Apply data & analytics discipline to continuously improve data quality and integrity of the restricted party screening process and develop related KPIs.
- Uploading Organization & Data Entry: Upload trade compliance documents (e.g., COOs, End-User certificates) into databases (e.g., SharePoint, GTS SAP) and accurately index.
- Review received documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational or legal standards, including sending requests and reminders for outstanding documentation.
Required Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel experience
- Fluent English written and verbal skills
Desired Technical Skills
- Proven experience as a Document Controller, Data Entry Clerk, or similar role.
- SharePoint 2016 experience (e.g. using or administering a SharePoint site, setting permissions, etc)
- 1+ years of general SAP experience (e.g. familiarity with T-codes to look up data on customers, vendors and banks.)
