Raise is currently hiring an EMBARK Training Lead on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client is a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection.

Description

As the EMBARK Training Lead, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end training readiness process in close collaboration with Key Lake and Project teams. You will play a pivotal role in identifying workforce training needs, developing role-specific training matrices, and ensuring curricula are aligned with operational and compliance requirements to support successful program execution.

This role serves as the central coordination point for all EMBARK training activities—overseeing planning, scheduling, system updates, and record management—while acting as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors. You will ensure training delivery remains on track by proactively resolving issues, maintaining accurate completion tracking, and supporting seamless communication across multiple teams.

Critical to this role is the ability to monitor training progress against key milestones, provide clear reporting on workforce readiness, and escalate risks when necessary to maintain alignment with EMBARK timelines and organizational goals. This position requires a highly organized, collaborative leader with strong experience in training systems, competency frameworks, and compliance standards, capable of driving execution in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the EMBARK training process by collaborating with Key Lake and Project teams to identify workforce training needs, update role-specific training matrices, and validate curricula aligned with operational requirements.
  • Develop a training plan with input from KL teams, ensuring objectives, delivery methods, and compliance standards are clearly defined.
  • Coordinate training execution by scheduling sessions, managing training system updates, tracking completion, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Act as the primary liaison with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of EMBARK training.
  • Monitor progress by tracking milestones, reporting on readiness status, and escalating risks as needed to maintain alignment with EMBARK timelines and readiness goals.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience supporting EMBARK or similar workforce readiness/training programs
  • Strong knowledge of EMBARK processes, timelines, and training deliverables
  • Experience developing role-based training matrices and aligning with operational requirements
  • Proven ability to coordinate across Project teams, and vendors
  • Hands-on experience with training systems, tracking, competency frameworks, and compliance standards
  • Strong organizational, communication, and risk escalation skills

As this is a safety Sensitive Role Pre-access substance testing will be required
