RESPONSIBILITIES
The SharePoint & Workflow Migration Specialist will be responsible for the following duties:
SharePoint Migration Duties (SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online):
Lead and execute the migration of the CREM Corporate Security
SharePoint 2013 environment to SharePoint Online, including assessment
of existing site structures, content, and metadata.
Plan, configure, and perform SharePoint migrations using approved tools,
including analysis of source content, permissions, data quality, and
remediation requirements.
Define and apply data mapping, transformation, metadata, and retention
rules to ensure migrated content aligns with approved SharePoint Online
information architecture, governance, security, and compliance standards.
Validate and reconcile migrated content to ensure accuracy, completeness,
and integrity, and identify, track, and resolve migration issues and risks.
Support the configuration and administration of SharePoint Online
components related to the migration, including libraries, metadata models,
content types, and permissions.
Coordinate migration activities with business units and technical teams,
contributing to scalable, repeatable processes that support the broader
rollout of SharePoint Online across CREM Corporate Security.
Provide user support related to the SharePoint migration, including
assisting business users transitioning from SharePoint 2013, responding to
migration-related issues and service requests, and contributing to
documentation and knowledge transfer.
Workflow Migration Duties (Nintex to Power Automate, Nintex Automation Cloud
Assess existing Nintex workflows, including logic, dependencies, and
integration points, to determine migration, redesign, or rebuild
requirements.
Lead the redevelopment of workflows in Power Automate, Nintex
Automation Cloud, or other suitable platform, ensuring alignment with
modern automation standards, security requirements, and SharePoint
Online capabilities.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate workflow functionality,
optimize processes, and ensure continuity of business operations during
the transition.
Support workflow testing, user acceptance activities, issue resolution, and
documentation of workflow designs, configurations, and operational
procedures.
General Project Support:
Maintain detailed migration documentation, including issue logs, status
reports, testing results, and configuration records.
Deliver user support and targeted training to promote adoption of
SharePoint Online and Power Automate, Nintex Automation Cloud, or other
suitable platform solutions.
Contribute to project planning, risk identification, and continuous
improvement of migration and workflow modernization processes.
Qualifications
It is important that the Services be undertaken by a SharePoint & Workflow
Migration Specialist who can demonstrate specific knowledge of, and experience
in, performing similar work for projects of comparable size, complexity, and scope
within an enterprise environment.
Education and Experience
University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Experience modernizing Nintex workflows by analyzing existing logic
and dependencies, then redesigning, rebuilding, and deploying
replacement workflows in Power Automate or Nintex Automation
Cloud within SharePoint Online.
Experience leading migrations from SharePoint 2013 and earlier to
SharePoint Online, supported by proven expertise using enterprise
migration tools to assess and transition source content, site
structures, metadata, and permissions.
Strong experience defining and applying data mapping, transformation,
metadata, and retention rules to align migrated content with approved
information architecture and governance standards.
Hands-on experience administering and configuring SharePoint Online,
including document libraries, metadata, content types, and permissions
Experience supporting workflow and migration testing, user acceptance
activities, and issue resolution.
Experience providing user support related to workflow and SharePoint
transitions, including assisting business users in adopting Power Automate
and SharePoint Online solutions.
Experience producing and maintaining migration documentation, issue
logs, and status reports.
Experience working within an organization wide SharePoint
implementation or modernization initiative supporting multiple business
areas.
Technical and Functional Skills
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture, information
architecture principles, and governance practices.
Strong working knowledge of workflow automation tools such as Nintex
Workflow and Power Automate, supported by expertise in workflow
design, process automation best practices, legacy workflow
modernization, and enterprise-level data and workflow migration.
Understanding of security, access controls, compliance, and retention
considerations for both content and automated workflows.
Working knowledge of data migration methodologies, workflow migration
approaches, and enterprise modernization practices.
Ability to contribute to scalable, repeatable migration and workflow
modernization processes and standards.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively
with technical teams, business stakeholders, and information management
resources as a contributing member of a project team
Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, business-friendly
language.

Successfully completed and validated migration of content from
SharePoint 2013 environment to SharePoint Online.
Migrated content that conforms to approved SharePoint Online information
architecture, metadata standards, security, governance, and retention
requirements.
Documented data mapping, transformation, metadata, and remediation
rules applied during migration activities.
Migration validation results confirming the accuracy, completeness, and
integrity of migrated content.
Configured SharePoint Online document libraries, metadata, content
types, and permissions to support migrated content and business
requirements.
Migration plans, schedules, and status updates supporting coordinated
execution across business areas.
Migration issue logs, risk tracking, and documented resolution outcomes.
Support for migration testing and user acceptance activities, including
remediation of identified issues.
Delivery of user support for business users transitioning from SharePoint
2013 to SharePoint Online.
Knowledge transfer materials and supporting documentation related to
migration processes and content.
Final migration summaries and supporting documentation for completed
migration phases or business areas, as requested.
Workflow Migration Deliverables
Completed assessment of existing Nintex workflows, including workflow
logic, dependencies, triggers, and integration points.
Rebuilt or migrated workflows in Power Automate, Nintex Automation
Cloud, or other suitable platform that meet functional requirements,
improve process efficiency where appropriate, and align with SharePoint
Online capabilities.
Documented workflow designs, configuration details, and modernization
decisions for each migrated workflow.
Workflow testing results confirming functional accuracy, reliability, and
alignment with business processes.
Issue logs and resolution documentation related to workflow migration
activities.
User support and guidance for business stakeholders adopting Power
Automate and/or Nintex Automation Cloud workflows.
Knowledge transfer materials, including workflow documentation, training
aids, and operational guidance for ongoing support.
Final workflow migration summaries for each automated process,
including before-and-after documentation where applicable.
