Manager, Corporate Communications
- Location: Toronto, ON-Hybrid (3-4 days on site)
- Pay Rate: $47.60-$56.21/hr
- Contract Length: 6 Months with a possibility of extension
We at Raise are hiring a Manager, Corporate Communications for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand. Responsibilities:
• Publish content on our RBC Connect homepage, with direct responsibility for design, layout and publishing using our in-house CMS
• Manage content strategy and editorial workflow designed to drive traffic, build reputation and raise profile for our internal social channel
• Work with colleagues and business partners to identify storytelling opportunities designed to promote collaboration and culture across the enterprise
• Create original content with the potential for video, visual layouts and designs – including the chance to meet directly with and interview colleagues to profile their stories
• Help to build-out additional sites within the Connect ecosystem to promote information sharing and collaboration
• Be involved in shaping immediate enhancements and the future direction of the Connect homepage and work within the broader team on the development of all enterprise digital communication channels
This is a fast-paced, highly visible role supporting one of the bank’s major channels.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
• 18 months -2 years experience
• An accomplished Web Publisher
• Can demonstrate creativity
• CSS/HTML
• Content Management systems
• Photoshop/Canva
• Video Editing capabilities -NTH- Big opportunity to increase their video content
• Superb soft skills; able to communicate with all levels across the bank
Nice-to-have:
• Demonstrable understanding of technology topics and trends, specifically data, digital and AI
• Experience and/or familiarity with financial services
• A strong understanding of emerging technology and its role in the future of the financial sector
