Risk Analyst – Advanced
- Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (4 days a week in the office)
- Pay Rate: $53.29/hr – $62.92/hr
- Contract Length: 12 Months

Responsibilities:
Daily activities will be a combination of three broad activities: (1) research, (2) investigation, and (3) documentation.
- Research will be a combination of self-directed research (reviewing existing internal and external documentation) and extracting information from key stakeholders in order to develop a basic understanding of the ICL business and its place in the organization.
- Investigation will involve diving deeper into the research, probing key stakeholders, in order to fully understand the ICL business and the key investment/economic risks it faces.
- Documentation will involve higher-level policy development and supporting detailed procedure documentation. It will also involve recommendations for risk limits and coordination with a designated systems development person (parallel contract position) to track and manage exposure against those limits.
Must-Have Skills:
- Project management experience would be a definite asset.
- Must be able to take the initiative to proactively make relationships with key stakeholders and hold them accountable for providing the necessary information about the ICL business in the research and investigation stages.
- Needs to be a self-starter.
- Needs to be very well organized to track progress and keep the project on track.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- An actuarial or insurance finance background would be helpful.
