We at Raise are hiring an Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Engineer—Expert for one of our top clients. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, they’re now expanding their team to meet rising demand. We’re hiring right now; if you’re interested, apply below for your chance to join a great place to work.
Responsibilities:
- Review workload in Jira and commit to daily goals
- Develop and deploy thoroughly tested features
- Work with subject matter experts to understand problems that need solving and work together to propose well-designed solutions
- Stay up to date on recent Agentic AI trends and frameworks, and discuss them with the team to influence direction.
- Debug, test, and fix issues identified in agents. Research and propose changes to our processes to prevent such issues from recurring
- Engage with the wider Agentic AI community to understand enterprise direction and best practices.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Strong Python (or equivalent modern language) engineering skills.
- Deep understanding of language performance and internals (e.g., GIL, concurrency tradeoffs, memory constraints). These agents need to process a large volume of data. They also need to conclude their investigation in a reasonable amount of time. The candidate will need enough experience to identify bottlenecks in a specific technology as well as the wider system design
- Proven experience building production-grade AI agents. The candidate must have deployed working AI agents to production with proven results. Just having done demos or side projects is not sufficient. They must have experience not just building but also evaluating agents for correctness.
- Thorough understanding of LLMs and agentic systems. The candidate is expected to start implementing immediately. They must already have a deep understanding of how to work with LLMs and their limitations. They must also be familiar with the various components of agentic systems.
- Strong context engineering skills. Not just prompt engineering. The candidate must already know how to curate, compress, and structure large data sets for effective LLM use.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with cybersecurity tools (CrowdStrike, Splunk, Mandiant, etc.)
- Familiarity with multiple agent frameworks (Claude Agent SDK, LangGraph, AutoGen, custom systems, etc.)
- Experience evaluating tradeoffs between agentic frameworks vs. custom orchestration.
