Reporting and Analytics Advisor
- Pay Rate: $62.62/hour, depending on experience

Raise is currently hiring a Reporting and Analytics Advisor on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Reporting and Analytics Advisor to join our clients North Coast Portfolio Reporting team. This role is pivotal in transforming complex project data into actionable business intelligence. You will lead the design and maintenance of advanced Power BI dashboards, develop integrated Power Apps solutions, and provide high-level analytical support to senior leadership. This position offers the opportunity to work within a critical capital project environment, ensuring our reporting architecture is sustainable, secure, and insightful.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards with row-level security.
- Build and maintain Power Apps and other analytics solutions.
- Gather and translate business requirements into actionable analytics solutions.
- Extract, clean, and analyze project data from multiple sources (SAP BW, XRM, Microsoft Fabric, Excel).
- Summarize and communicate insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Apply analytical skills to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and optimize processes.
- Design and document portfolio-level operational processes.
- Collaborate with Technology teams to ensure sustainable backend reporting architecture.
- Perform problem-solving and root cause analysis for data and reporting issues.
Qualifications
- 5 years of consulting experience, with extensive experience in data analytics, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Proven expertise in developing high-impact Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Technical proficiency in data extraction and manipulation from tools like SAP BW, XRM, or
- Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and rigorous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for a professional corporate
- environment.
- Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical data and
- business needs.
- Nice-to-Have: Experience working within large-scale capital projects or the utilities sector.
- Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
Additional Information
- Candidates in this role will be working a hybrid schedule, with at least 2 days in the office
- Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
- Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network
