  • Pay Rate: $58.82 /hour, depending on experience

Raise is currently hiring a ServiceNow Developer on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client is a market leading financial institution

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

Description

Our client  is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team, focusing on the design, implementation, and optimization of Identity and Access Management (IAM) catalog requests and automated workflows. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, translating complex access requirements into seamless, secure, and user-friendly technical workflows. Utilizing ServiceNow native functionality and third-party integrations, you will play a critical role in ensuring our access request and approval pipelines are efficient, compliant, and highly automated.

Responsibilities            

  • Workflow Development: Design, build, and maintain technical workflows for IAM catalog requests and approval chains within ServiceNow.
  • Integration Management: Configure and support robust integrations between ServiceNow and Active Directory, as well as external third-party systems using REST APIs.
  • Business Translation: Partner closely with business stakeholders to gather access requirements and effectively translate them into native ServiceNow functionality and technical designs.
  • Catalog Optimization: Utilize ServiceNow Catalog Builder to create, manage, and streamline internal service requests, ensuring an intuitive user experience.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all developed workflows align with corporate security policies, identity governance standards, and audit requirements.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5+ years of ServiceNow Development & Administration experience,  2 to 3+ years of Integration & API Experience (REST APIs & Active Directory) experience with 1 to 2+ years  of Identity & Access Management (IAM) Domain Knowledge (or deep exposure through major projects)
  • ServiceNow Core Administration & Development: Proven experience configuring, developing, and customizing the ServiceNow platform, specifically utilizing ServiceNow Catalog Builder to create complex service catalogs.
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM) Workflows: Hands-on experience designing and implementing automated access request pipelines and multi-stage approval workflows.
  • API Integration Expertise: Demonstrated ability to connect ServiceNow with external systems using third-party REST APIs to automate data exchange and actions.
  • Active Directory Integration: Specific technical experience configuring and troubleshooting ServiceNow Active Directory (AD) integrations for user provisioning and group management.
  • Technical Translation & Requirements Gathering: A strong track record of acting as a functional bridge—gathering non-technical business requirements and mapping them precisely to technical ServiceNow logic.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a history of collaborating effectively across both technical engineering teams and corporate business units.
  • Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
  • Certified Application Developer (CAD)
  • Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • Micro-Certifications or Secondary Badges (Nice-to-Haves)    

Additional Information

  • Candidates in this role will be working a hybrid schedule of at least 1 day a week in the office
  • A requirement for candidates to be considered for this role will be to complete a criminal and credit check (including Canadian Credit Risk Score)
