Administrative Assistant (Intermediate)
- Pay Rate: $25.00 – $30.00/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Location: Bonnyville, AB T9N 2J7 (Onsite)
- Modified Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday (8.5 hours per day), first Friday (7.5 hours), and the second Friday off.

Overview
- This role provides senior-level administrative support to a department or individual, ensuring efficient daily operations and coordination.
- The role involves managing multiple tasks, leading projects, and handling sensitive and confidential information while supporting overall team productivity.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including typing, filing, answering phones, and managing correspondence
- Schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and coordinate conferences and events
- Manage record keeping, mail distribution, and office supply procurement
- Support special projects by recording, compiling, retrieving, analyzing, and reporting data
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Lead and coordinate administrative projects and initiatives
- Train, mentor, and support other office staff as needed
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Identify operational issues and escalate or assist in resolving them as needed
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email systems
- Strong administrative coordination and customer service experience
- Ability to work with moderate supervision and exercise sound judgment
- Proven ability to lead projects and support team development
