Associate Accountant – Direct Hire
Pay Rate: Up to $80,000/year, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Houston, TX 77032
Raise is currently hiring an Associate Accountant – Direct Hire on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learns the Company's financial and accounting systems, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Learns and prepares basic account reconciliations.
- Learns organizational structure of the Company.
- Prepares and posts journal vouchers which may include consolidations and eliminations.
- Researches and resolves basic accounting issues and transactions.
- Gathers financial information for report preparation.
- Job role is developmental and intended to expose incumbents to many aspects of accounting, financial analysis and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Skills typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in accounting and no previous accounting experience required.
- Candidates with undergraduate degrees in other disciplines must have a minimum of 18 hours of Accounting Knowledge of US GAAP and country-specific accounting principles is required.
