Load-Out and Production Technicians
Pay Rate: $20.00 – $26.00/hour +$2 Shift differential depending on experience
Work Location: Onsite – Mobile, AL 36605
Work Schedule: 5 days per week | 12 hours
Duration: 6-contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.
Raise is currently hiring Load-Out and Production Technicians on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Load-Out Technician
- Responsible for executing load-out, spooling, and material handling activities associated with subsea umbilicals and related equipment.
- Supports the safe and efficient transfer of finished product from manufacturing to transport or installation interfaces.
- Performs rigging, lifting, spooling to installation reels, and seafastening operations in accordance with approved procedures, lift plans, and project requirements.
- Ensures all activities are conducted with a high level of safety, equipment control, and product integrity.
- Operates within a yard environment and requires strict adherence to HSE standards, operational procedures, and quality requirements associated with subsea umbilical handling and delivery.
Production Technician
- Actively participate in the umbilical production process, gaining and maintaining competence in one or more Production areas.
- Continuously observe the umbilical process; monitors, signals, and equipment; and receive notification, by intercommunications, from control supervisor to make specified operating adjustments on such equipment as brakes, pumps, primary wheels, reels, compressors, water chillers, line speed, etc.
- Operate and control carousels/tensioners.
- Operate closing Epic.
- Develop understanding of spooling route construction and accumulator construction.
- Develop basic understanding of spooling of umbilicals to installation reels.
- Participate in all Closing, Extrusion and Load-out pre-meetings and assist with closing/bundling, extrusion, and load-out operations.
- Become certified as an outer sheathing repairer.
- May operate forklift and/or overhead crane.
- Adhere to HSSE and Quality Standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of high school diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of Manufacturing/Assembly experience required.
- Experience from mechanical production, may include operating/working around heavy production equipment and/or chemical processes, millwright, pipe fitter, welding, control room operator, or other relevant experience.
- Preferred Local Candidates to Mobile area
