Project Manager – AIX Cloud Migration Program

Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, governance, scheduling, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change activities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including infrastructure, cloud, network, database, security, and application teams.
- Facilitate project status meetings, executive updates, and migration readiness reviews.
- Develop and oversee migration plans, cutover plans, testing activities, and hypercare support.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones, deliverables, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive collaboration across customer, service provider, and third-party teams using a “One Team” approach.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Project Management experience delivering enterprise infrastructure or cloud transformation projects.
- Proven experience managing data centre and migration cutovers, hypercare support, infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of AIX, IBM Power Systems, Oracle databases, backup and recovery solutions, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple vendors and technical teams.
- Proficiency with project governance, risk management, and delivery reporting.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and risk management capabilities.
- Previous experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications such as PeopleSoft, Hyperion, or similar mission-critical platforms.

- (PMP) – PMI, or PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management certification (must have)
- Cloud platform Certification (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent cloud certification, (must have)
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI-ACP, or Agile delivery certification (preferred)
- ITIL Foundation or higher (preferred)
- Prosci Change Management Certification (asset)
- IBM Power Systems / AIX certification (asset)
- Oracle Database or Oracle Cloud certification (asset)
