Frontend-Focused Full-Stack Product Engineer

Responsibilities:
Frontend Leadership (Primary Focus)
- Own the design and development of responsive, modern web applications using React, TypeScript, and contemporary frontend technologies.
- Translate complex business workflows into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Build reusable component libraries and scalable frontend architectures.
- Design data-rich dashboards, visualizations, workflow screens, and operational portals.
- Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and usability.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create consistent design systems and user experiences.
- Implement enterprise-grade authentication and authorization experiences.
- Drive frontend best practices for code quality, maintainability, testing, and performance.
Full-Stack Integration Responsibilities:
- Integrate frontend applications with APIs, analytics platforms, and AI services.
- Develop lightweight backend services and middleware where required.
- Support API design and consumption in collaboration with backend and platform teams.
- Ensure secure communication between frontend applications and enterprise systems.
- Partner with platform engineers on deployment, monitoring, and application reliability.
- Work with ML engineers to expose model outputs through user-friendly experiences without embedding model logic in the UI.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
Product & Business Collaboration
- Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to understand operational workflows.
- Convert analytics and AI concepts into usable software products.
- Gather user feedback and continuously improve application usability and adoption.
- Produce documentation, testing artifacts, and support guides.
Required Experience
- 6+ years building production-grade web applications.
- Expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript development.
- Strong experience with React and modern frontend architecture patterns.
- Experience with frontend state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query, or similar).
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience building high-performance dashboards and data-rich user interfaces.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and GraphQL services.
- Working knowledge of backend development using Node.js, .NET, or similar technologies.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks, including Microsoft Entra ID.
- Experience with cloud-hosted applications in Azure or comparable platforms.
- Experience with modern testing frameworks for frontend applications.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with business users.
Preferred Experience
- Microsoft Fabric and Power BI embedding/integration.
- Experience building AI-enabled applications and analytics products.
- Experience with design systems and component libraries.
- Figma, UX design collaboration, and user-centered design practices.
- Experience with operational workflow, approval, audit, or decision-support applications.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, airport operations, planning, or industrial environments.
- Familiarity with Azure App Services, Container Apps, Functions, and serverless architectures.
