Title: Account Director, EMEA
Location: EMEA Region
About the Role
Raise is powering the ExxonMobil contingent workforce program called Select Source in EMEA, starting with a single client relationship and built with room to grow into others across the region. This is the senior client-facing leadership role for EMEA: the relationship owner, the growth driver, and the executive point of escalation.
You work in true partnership with the region's Operations Lead. They run the day-to-day operational engine, the partner network, and the back-office complexity, so you can spend your time where it matters most: in front of the client, building the relationship, and driving growth. You lead, they deliver behind you, and the client experiences one seamless team.
You're also part of a three-region peer group. The Account Directors in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC work in lockstep to keep the account aligned globally, sharing what's working, flagging what isn't, and making sure the client never feels a seam between regions. You'll work with a regional counterpart on the global EMCS MSP team as part of that same alignment.
This is an elevated, senior role. We're a self-managed organization, so success here comes from earning trust and driving outcomes through relationships, not authority.
What You'll Own
- Client relationship and strategic growth. You are the primary relationship owner for the client's procurement and talent acquisition teams, and the executive voice on strategic growth calls. You lead weekly updates, understand what it takes to deliver on our commitments, and become the regional subject matter expert on the client's policies, processes, and expectations.
- Partnership with the Operations Lead. You own the relationship and the growth. They own the operational engine. You work as a team, and the client should never see daylight between the two of you.
- Cross-region alignment. You work in lockstep with your Account Director counterparts in the Americas and APAC, and with your regional counterpart on the global EMCS MSP team, to keep the account consistent and aligned worldwide.
- Delivery oversight. You hold an arm stretched over sourcing, curation, and recruiting delivery, as well as the partner-run back-office functions across EMEA. Given the region's partner-delivered model, you'll have a bigger hand in building out recruiting capacity here than your Americas counterpart does, on par with APAC.
- Program economics. You monitor program economics, partner costs, and resource allocation across the region's countries, and make sure the account is appropriately resourced as it grows.
- Reporting and dashboard accuracy. You are ultimately accountable for the accuracy of what the client sees, working closely with the Operations Lead and our partners to make sure the data holds up even when it's coming from multiple sources across multiple countries.
- Business reviews. You lead, or closely collaborate on, every quarterly and annual business review.
- Regional regulatory awareness. You stay close to the compliance and regulatory landscape across the countries you support, and you're quick to raise your hand when a situation needs outside counsel.
- Technology and tooling. You have a real voice in decisions about the technology, information, and support that shape how the account runs.
How You'll Grow Into It
We don't expect you to be fully ramped on day one, but this needs to be a fast climb. You'll come in with real experience running a comparable account, and you'll grow quickly into deep fluency with this client's history, EMEA's regulatory landscape, and our regional partner network. The goal is to get to the point quickly where the client, your peer Account Directors, and your Operations Lead all treat you as the person who already has the answer.
What You Bring
- Significant experience as an Account Director or relationship owner for a large enterprise MSP or contingent workforce program
- Experience operating in multi-country EMEA markets with partner-delivered (EOR/AOR/PEO) models
- A track record of leading executive-level client relationships, including QBRs and annual business reviews
- Experience monitoring program economics, partner costs, and resource planning across a growing account
- Comfort partnering closely with an Operations Lead rather than owning every operational detail directly
- Working knowledge of multi-country regulatory environments, and good judgment on when to bring in outside counsel
- A track record of building trust quickly with senior stakeholders, both client-side and internally
- A natural collaborator, comfortable working in lockstep with peer leaders across other regions
Who Succeeds Here
The person who does this well leads with relationship and trust, not authority. They're the executive presence the client relies on, and the partner their Operations Lead can build the account with, not around.
They ramp fast, ask sharp questions, and don't wait to be told what to prioritize. They're comfortable being the face of the account while trusting a strong operational partner to run what's behind them.
If you're the person who can walk into a growing, complex region and make the client feel like they have Raise's full attention, this is your role.
Practical Notes
This role is based in-region (EMEA), with travel to client and partner sites across the region needed on occasion as the relationship and account require.
