Resort Cook/Bartender/Server
Pay Rate: Up to $16.50/hour on W2, depending on experience
Work Type: Onsite – West Columbia, TX 44680
Duration: 2-year contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards. Experience in baking or pastry is a plus.
- Design and plan itineraries for hunting and fishing trips, utilizing your knowledge of the countryside to select the best routes and sites.
- Safely transport guests, equipment, and supplies to designated hunting and fishing areas.
- Explain hunting and fishing laws to guests to ensure compliance and safety.
- Provide guidance and instruction to guests on the use of hunting and fishing gear.
- Administer first aid to injured individuals as needed.
- Assist with the maintenance and repair of facilities, grounds, and equipment.
- Provide care for animals as required.
- Perform job tasks effectively to support the organization's success.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in hunting, fishing, and camping within the outdoor recreation and guide industry.
- Previous experience in food handling and cooking, preferably with baking or pastry skills.
- Non-Commercial Driver's License required.
