Who is the employer?

The Raise has partnered with our client, a global supplier of thin film materials for the RF Wireless, optics, photovoltaic, and MEMS markets in a wide range of industries including semiconductor, life sciences, Aerospace & Defense, consumer-mobility and clean energy. They are a successful team of engineers and technicians hosting a positive and casual environment.

Now they are looking for you: their new Chemical Process Engineer to join their team.

What you will be doing:

As the new Chemical Process Engineer, you will report directly to the Quality Control Manger and play a crucial part in developing safe and efficient chemical processes to clean and extend the life of components used in semiconductor manufacturing. 

Practically speaking, you will:

  • Develop, document, and optimize chemical cleaning processes for components, ensuring compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Test and analyze chemical formulations to verify safety and effectiveness across substrates without compromising component integrity or longevity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to interpret material specifications, develop compatible cleaning solutions, and resolve process-related challenges.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, implement best practices, and train production staff on process changes, safety protocols, and operational improvements.
  • Establish and execute testing protocols to confirm treated components meet OEM specifications after chemical processing.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of process changes, test results, and SOPs in accordance with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Support EH&S programs by ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations; develop and enforce safety procedures for handling hazardous materials.
  • Contribute to facility improvement initiatives, including cleanroom upgrades and waste treatment system enhancements.
  • Assist site leadership during audits and inspections to assess quality, safety, and operational performance.

 

The details:

This is a permanent full-time management position. The ideal candidate will be based in the Dallas, Texas area and to work in the manufacturing facility. This position offers competitive Salary to work for at least 40 hours/week from Monday to Friday. This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information or items. Any job offer would be contingent on meeting export control compliance requirements and obtaining necessary export licenses.

 

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical preferred) required.

·       At least 3 years of experience in process engineering (Precision Cleaning or Metal Refining industries)

·       Expert knowledge of chemical solutions and mixtures, with emphasis on interactions between chemicals and metals.

·       Strong understanding of validation protocols to ensure processes meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

·       Skilled in surface cleanliness standards, contamination control, chemical handling and safety, waste treatment processes, and cleanroom operations.

·       Committed to maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards across all operations.

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to collaborate across teams and effectively manage projects.

·       Highly organized, able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with a strong sense of urgency.

·       Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.

·       Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
