Warehouse Associate
- Full-time, Temporary to Perm
- Contract Duration: 3 months to start
- Shift Timings: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Farmers Branch, TX
- Must have electric forklift and pallet jack experience
We at Raise are hiring for one of our key clients in the Food and Beverage industry. After establishing themselves as an industry leader, our client’s team is expanding to meet rising demand.
The Warehouse Associates are responsible for performing various tasks to support warehouse operations. This role includes the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe. The Warehouse Associate works closely with other team members to meet daily operational goals and uphold company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, including both dry goods and frozen products, following company standards.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and promptly report discrepancies.
- Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Assist with additional warehouse tasks as directed by supervisors
Qualifications:
- Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Ability to pick and pack both dry goods and frozen products accurately.
- Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature environments (including freezer areas).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Knowledge of basic safety procedures and ability to follow company policies.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Must be 18 years or older

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification preferred).
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software.

- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, and reach regularly.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures within the warehouse.
- Ability to lift up to 50-pounds and operate warehouse equipment.
Work Environment:
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving machinery.
- Occasional overtime may be required to meet operational needs.
