Digital Marketing Specialist
- Location: Toronto, Atria, Waterloo, ON – Hybrid (2 days per week onsite)
- Pay Rate: $40.24/hr – $47.50/hr
- Contract Length: 6 Months with possibility for extension

Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of digital marketing including digital display, paid search, paid social, online affiliate, external partnerships and e-mail channels
- Establish strong working relationships with internal/external stakeholders – including Creative Services, Legal, Compliance, etc. to launch new programs effectively
- Manage the end-to-end content review and translations processes to successfully deliver all initiatives – including translation, branding, legal and compliance
- Proofread copy and images to co-ordinate final sign-off on all key initiatives
- Manage marketing budget and forecasts to ensure spending is managed properly to achieve business growth objectives
- Track, report, and analyze metrics of key digital tactics to inform campaign strategies
- Build and execute on A/B testing strategies to inform campaign strategies through tools like adobe target
- Partner with team to test new channels and technology to drive innovation and Client acquisition
- Document and maintain up-to-date processes and internal best practices
- Work closely with agencies and in-house teams to optimize marketing initiatives to drive customer experience and acquisition
Key Competencies:
- Digital Marketing – demonstrated experience in delivering direct-to-consumer digital marketing programs (social media, paid search, affiliate marketing, etc.)
- Campaign Execution – demonstrated experience in managing performance-based digital marketing campaigns
- Analytical Mindset – ability to draw insights from data to inform future campaign design
- Organizational Skills – proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and deliver against required timelines and budget
- Relationship Management – proven ability to build and cultivate strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders up, down and across the organization
- Business Curiosity – Comfort seeking new approaches to solving business problems and challenging the status quo to improve the Client experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal), with superb attention to detail in reviewing marketing materials
- Copywriting – experience in, and ability to, create persuasive digital direct-to-Client communications including paid search copy, social media advertising, an asset
- Creative thinker
- Ability to work independently and closely with other team members across the organization
- Ability to synthesize complex ideas into actionable recommendations
- As this position is posted in several locations, we specify that bilingualism (French, English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and French-speaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.
Must have skills:
- 1-3 years experience in digital marketing experience
- Experience with marketing campaign/project management
- Experience with paid search and social media campaigns
- Sound understanding of direct response marketing and conversion rate optimization
Nice to have skills:
- Agile marketing/development experience
- Experience with web analytics tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics)
- Experience with CRM tools and marketing technologies
Education:
- Degree or certificate in marketing or communications
