Oracle EPM Administrator
- Pay Rate: $101.50–$120.00/hour, depending on experience
- Contract Length: 6 Months
- Location: Remote/Hybrid (as required)
Raise is currently hiring an Oracle EPM Administrator on behalf of our client. They're expanding their team to support ongoing Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) operations and enhancement initiatives, making this an exciting opportunity for an experienced Oracle EPM professional to support critical financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Our Client, is one of Canada's top comprehensive research Universities
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The Oracle EPM Administrator will provide day-to-day administration, operational support, maintenance, and enhancement of the Oracle EPM Cloud environment. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the platform while supporting Finance, HR, IT, and business users during planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to resolve system issues, maintain existing applications, implement enhancements, and support Oracle EPM components including cubes, business rules, integrations, security, reporting, and application development.
Responsibilities
Oracle EPM Administration
- Perform day-to-day administration and operational support for the Oracle EPM Cloud environment.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability.
- Maintain Oracle EPM applications to ensure a stable and reliable environment.
- Support routine system maintenance activities and platform updates.
User Support & System Maintenance
- Respond to user support requests and troubleshoot application issues.
- Resolve functional and technical issues affecting Oracle EPM users.
- Document support activities, system changes, and operational procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to business users during planning cycles.
Metadata, Security & Application Administration
- Maintain metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, and application structures.
- Administer user security, roles, and access permissions.
- Develop and maintain application forms and input templates.
- Support new cube creation and ongoing cube maintenance.
Business Rules & Integrations
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot business rules and calculation scripts.
- Support data loads, integrations, automation processes, and system interfaces.
- Assist with validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting of integration issues.
- Support Smart View functionality, reporting, dashboards, and financial reporting components.
Testing & Continuous Improvement
- Perform system testing, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
- Support planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles.
- Document enhancements, configurations, and operational processes.
- Assist with assigned Oracle EPM enhancement initiatives and system improvements.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience administering Oracle EPM Cloud environments.
- Experience supporting Oracle Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting solutions.
- Experience with metadata management, dimensions, security administration, and business rules.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle EPM cubes, application forms, calculations, and reporting components.
- Experience supporting data loads, integrations, automation, and reconciliation activities.
- Experience supporting Smart View and financial reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting Finance, Human Resources, and enterprise planning functions.
- Knowledge of Oracle EPM integrations with ERP and other enterprise applications.
- Experience developing operational documentation and support procedures.
- Experience supporting enterprise planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
- Familiarity with automation, scripting, and cloud administration best practices.
