Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

 

Job Overview

  • This position is responsible for the reporting, financial monitoring, and data collection for the Energy Efficiency business operations for all three states, including but not limited to corporate budgets, accounting and reporting, regulatory reporting, key performance indicators, metrics activities and energy efficiency loan administration.
  •  Responsibilities include providing financial and data oversight support to leadership for the energy efficiency residential and commercial Channel programs MA, CT and NH, including residential Heat Pump loans. 
  • This includes financial reporting, metric gathering and reporting, and coordination with Energy Efficiency Consultants and 3rd party vendors/lenders. 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, track, and analyze vendor performance data to ensure accuracy and data compliance
  • Track data errors and work with third-party vendors to develop solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee invoicing process to ensure accuracy and alignment with reported spending.
  • Gather and analyze monthly accruals and ensure ongoing accuracy of accrual process.
  • Coordinate contract data requirements and execution with 3rd party vendors/lenders.
  • Monitor spending against contract limitations; work with Procurement to adjust contract and purchase order limitations.
  • Forecast contract spend against planned spending and coordinate program modifications with vendors.
  • Support the review of Energy Efficiency accounting and budgeting information to ensure it is complete, accurate and maintained in accordance with the Company’s’ Accounting and Budgeting area requirements, as well as with regulatory decisions and orders.
  • Supports the production of the Monthly Key Performance Indicators and Financial Reports for the EE organization.
  • Supports the development and analysis of the EE revenue recovery sources which support customer loan programs.

Qualifications

  • More of a financial background
  • Bachelor Degree REQUIRED
  • Closer to a min of 3-4 years of experience: Project Finance, Corporate Finance, Energy Efficiency, Accounting, Finance, Economics/Mathematics and Regulatory, Budgeting or Planning experience preferred.    

Technical Skills

  • Knowledge and experience with project finance, budget reporting, data maintenance, and contract oversight.
  • Knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability in all areas of financial reporting, analyses and financial modelling.
  • Must possess an understanding of financial statements, financial modeling and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Must be customer driven, display initiative, accepts responsibility, holds others accountable, participates in and facilitates team effectiveness, thinks and acts analytically.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions to support the mission, work independently and apply knowledge and skill to solve problems.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, in addition to other Microsoft Office applications (MS Power point, MS Word) and other business system applications.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in running queries in various systems and data gathering. 
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
