Senior Salesforce Developer
- Pay Rate: $75.00 – $85.00/hour on W2 with some flexibility dependent on experience
- Location: Stoughton, MA 02072
- Contract: 5 months (with likely 1+ year extension)
- Work Type: Hybrid | 4 days Onsite and 1 day Remote
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 40 hours a week | regular work schedule
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to help rebuild and modernize a large-scale Salesforce platform supporting a major enterprise client with millions of customers. This is a true development role. You will refactor legacy Apex code, build new features, and create integrations with outside systems. You will work closely with teams across the business, and you will test your own code in a staging environment before it goes live, since there is no separate QA team.
Responsibilities
- Rebuild and refactor legacy Apex, Visualforce, and configuration
- Build new features and enhancements based on real business needs
- Create integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP, or middleware
- Write and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and Lightning Web Components
- Write real unit tests and thoroughly test your own code before deployment
- Troubleshoot and fix issues in complex legacy code
- Partner with stakeholders across multiple departments
- Handle occasional admin tasks like user setup and permission sets
Qualifications
- A background in software development before moving into Salesforce, such as Java, C# or JavaScript
- Five or more years of Salesforce development experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce
- Real experience refactoring legacy code, not just building new
- Experience with API based integrations
- Strong testing habits and comfort owning your own code end to end
- Platform Developer I certification required, Platform Developer II a big plus
