About the Customer
The customer is a healthcare AI company building a connected platform that reasons over medical records, payer logic, and financial workflows to automate coding, billing, and claims follow-up.
Its systems are live in production across a large share of major U.S. health systems, handling hundreds of millions of patients encounters each year, including well over 100M claims, 500M+ patient encounters, and more than a billion workflow actions and outcomes annually.
The company offers startup-level ownership on problems with enterprise-level stakes, for engineers looking to build AI that ships, scales, and measurably improves how healthcare works.
The Role
This is a unique role centered on full-stack application engineering using React, Node, and Python, paired with a strong product eye to help bring the company's AI outputs to life for the user.
The role partners with customers, design, and research to understand real workflows, then ships products that make complex automation feel simple, clear, and trustworthy. The successful candidate will blend technical depth with product instinct, shaping how healthcare teams interact with intelligent systems.
The company is hiring across several seniority levels, from mid-level up to Staff. At minimum, the role requires 5 years of software engineering experience with 2 years of direct React development.
Candidate Profile
- The ideal candidate is a full-stack engineer who can build and strategize. At the Senior level, at least 5 years of engineering experience is expected, including at least 2 years of direct React development. The candidate should also be:
- Comfortable across the application stack, with expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, and Python
- A builder by nature, prone to standing up projects and demos in pursuit of a solution for the user
- Passionate about how AI can be cleverly integrated into workflows to supercharge and level up how people work
- Comfortable owning features end-to-end, from scoping and design to deployment
- A bonus if they bring visual design skills (Figma, Illustrator)
