  • Contract Length: 6 months
  • Location:  Key Lake, Saskatchewan
  • Fly In Fly Out Camp accommodations provided
  • Rotation (2 weeks in-2weeks out, 11 hours a day)
  • Company Charter Flights provided – Departing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
  • Contractors are expected to travel to Saskatoon for chartered flights to camp sites

Raise is currently hiring an Integrated Site Scheduler on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client is a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection.

Note: The primary pay rate is based on the rate for an incorporated contractor who owns their own business. However, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in a T4 arrangement, where applicable.

Description

The  Maintenance Scheduler in this role  will perform essential scheduling activities for the Maintenance Planning group, integrating schedules from maintenance and support work centers into comprehensive draft and final schedules. You will analyze, optimize, and enhance operational schedules while collaborating closely with planners and area owners to ensure safe and efficient execution.

 

Responsibilities

  • Schedule Development & Integration: Build draft and final maintenance schedules by integrating inputs from various maintenance and support work centers.
  • Optimization & Analysis: Analyze schedules to identify conflicts, optimize workflows, determine critical paths, and perform scenario planning.
  • Meeting Facilitation: Chair key operational meetings, including notification reviews and schedule compliance reviews, while actively participating in integrated site scheduling meetings.
  • Collaboration: Partner daily with maintenance planners, area owners, and operational teams to align scheduling objectives with site priorities.

 

Qualifications

  • Intermediate (4–9 years) or Senior (10+ years) of direct experience in scheduling medium-to-large industrial projects and/or operations.
  • Advanced proficiency using enterprise scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Prometheus.
  • Advanced hands-on experience utilizing SAP for maintenance and operational data management.
  • Proven ability to independently build, analyze, optimize, and deliver complex maintenance schedules and critical path models in a heavy industrial environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills to effectively chair alignment meetings and drive schedule compliance across work centers.
  • Education and Certifications
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related technical, business, or operational discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant industrial experience)..
