Project Control Officer – Intermediate

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support assigned projects through all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Track and report on project progress, milestones, risks, issues, actions, and dependencies
  • Prepare, coordinate, and maintain project schedules, release plans, and roadmaps
  • Support preparation of governance materials, approvals, briefing notes, and decision records
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and stakeholder participation
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, materials, and pre-reads
  • Capture and distribute meeting minutes and notes, including decisions, risks, issues, and action items
  • Track and follow up on meeting action items and commitments to ensure timely closure
  • Assist project managers and product owners with release planning and delivery coordination
  • Act as a central point of coordination between delivery teams, product teams, and business stakeholders
  • Support change management and communication activities related to project delivery
  • Support coordination across related products and business process initiatives

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting large, complex digital or platform transformation initiatives
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and hybrid delivery models
  • Exposure to enterprise governance models and stage-gate approvals
  • Experience supporting healthcare, public sector, or large enterprise environments
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (technology, product, business, vendors)

Required Skills:

  • Project coordination experience in waterfall and agile environments
  • Strong working knowledge of Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Understanding of project governance, reporting, and controls
  • Experience preparing and maintaining project artefacts and documentation
  • Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to support multiple workstreams and releases concurrently

  • Knowledge and experience Agile/Waterfall methodologies 25 Points
  • Background in healthcare, health IT, or enterprise IT environments 25 Points
  • Experience preparing and maintaining project artefacts and documentation 25 Points
  • Experience supporting project governance, product and project teams 25 Points

Total Evaluation Criteria: 100 Points

Deliverables

Deliverables Include:

  • Accurate and timely status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
  • Coordination of dependencies across related products and business process initiatives
  • Support delivery of the Unified Provider Platform (UPP) project across multiple releases
  • Support delivery of the HALO project across multiple releases
  • Maintenance of integrated project plans, schedules, and roadmaps
  • Preparation and coordination of governance submissions, decks, and approval materials

Must Haves:

5+ years experience:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting software application delivery teams (e.g., product, development teams)
  • Proven experience working in both waterfall and agile project environments
  • Hands-on experience with Confluence and Jira (documentation, tracking, reporting)
  • Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals, including governance, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Background in healthcare, health IT, or enterprise IT environments
