  • Pay Rate: $50 – $60//hour (on W2)
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Location: Huntsville, TX 77340 (Onsite)

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.

Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of small capital projects (typically $20M and below) by assisting Project Managers with planning, coordination, execution, project reporting, and performance tracking. This role will be involved in all phases of project management, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in alignment with project objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers in the planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of capital projects.
  • Track project schedules, budgets, milestones, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Prepare project status reports and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project activities across multiple disciplines and functional teams.
  • Assist with resource planning and project documentation management.
  • Support project governance, change management, and project controls activities.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, contractors, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and opportunities and escalate as needed.
  • Utilize project management tools to maintain schedules and project data.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and support achievement of project objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant project coordination or project management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and drive performance toward shared goals.
  • Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Business, or related discipline.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Primavera P6, or similar project management tools.
  • Exposure to capital projects, construction projects, or project controls environments.
  • Basic electrical engineering knowledge or experience supporting electrical projects.
