Project Information Management Lead (Aconex, SharePoint Online)
- Pay Rate: $60 – $80/hour (on W2)
- Contract Length: 12 months with possible extension
- Location: The Woodlands, TX 77380
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
You lead information management (IM) for one major capital project, from day-to-day execution through handover to operations. You keep project information controlled, current, and easy to find for the project team and several contractors. You step in ready to lead, with hands-on Aconex and SharePoint Online skills from day one. Success means complete, trusted project information that the operations team can rely on for the life of the facility.
Responsibilities
- Run daily IM and document control work in Aconex and SharePoint Online, including workflows, correspondence, transmittals, deliverables, and reviews.
- Lead the project IM and document control team, including a support team based in India.
- Hold several contractors to the project’s IM requirements, including the Master Document Register (MDR), Supplier Master Document Register (SMDR), and Document Distribution Matrix (DDM).
- Train project team members and contractors on IM processes and systems.
- Build and maintain the project Information Management Plan, with its procedures, templates, and guidelines.
- Track IM performance with reports and dashboards, and audit internal and contractor teams until issues are resolved.
- Plan document turnover from contractors and handover to operations until a dedicated coordinator joins the team.
- Raise issues that could affect documentation quality, cost, or schedule with project leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 6–10 years in information management, document control, data management, or digital project delivery.
- Advanced, hands-on experience with Aconex and SharePoint Online.
- Experience leading information management or document control teams.
- Experience on large engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) or EPC management (EPCM) projects through execution, commissioning, and handover.
- Experience managing IM compliance across several contractors and stakeholder groups.
- Strong knowledge of metadata, taxonomy, naming conventions, and data quality controls.
- Experience writing procedures and training materials and running workshops to onboard teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AVEVA Asset Information Management (AIM), asset information management, or digital handover.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Airtable, or similar digital tools.
- Liquefied natural gas (LNG), oil and gas, energy, or major capital project experience.
- Experience with international joint ventures and multicultural teams.
- Experience on the owner/operator side, not only with contractors.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled information management solutions.
