We’re Hiring! Our key client in the Legal industry is looking for additional members to their team. We have a Senior Technical Service Representative role on the team.

Pay Rate: $75/hour T4
Work Type: Remote – Saskatoon, SK S7N 0W9
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 1 hour Lunch
Duration: 12-month contract

Key Responsibilities:

* Execute and manage all Demand Creation trials and activities, including all technical requirements such as ability to operate equipment related to spraying, maintenance and harvest.
* Supervise Technical Agronomy Interns who support summer demand creation activities and data collection of large-scale growers applied trials and other key projects.
* Coordinate third party research associated with third party demo sites.
* Monitor and positively influence key centers of influence (COI) such as universities, consultants, provincial extension staff and retail agronomists through relationship building and regular contact.
* Technical transfer of information through the development and delivery of presentations to both external and internal customers through a variety of presentation tools.
* Technical training and reinforcement of product positioning with sales and marketing team.
* Support sales team members and a defined list of external customers within the region, ensuring that marketing, sales and technical positions are in alignment.
* Use generated field and university research data to develop tools that support marketing and sales tactics.
* Effectively coaching and mentoring others, including team members and sales colleagues, as required.

Qualifications:

* M.Sc. in Agriculture/Biology with emphasis on crop science, weed science, agronomy, entomology, plant pathology or related discipline with 8 years of relevant experience is preferred.
* Candidates with a B.Sc. and a minimum of 10+ years of experience in sales, research or related functions will also be considered.
* Experience in the Agriculture industry, working with and understanding growers and retail customers.
* Strong collaboration and leadership skills with the ability to influence without authority.
* Strong interpersonal communication skills combined with a passion for making a positive difference in the agriculture industry.
* An ability to self-manage time, resources and energy appropriately.
* Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and web-based applications.
* CCSC (or willing to obtain) is mandatory. Willingness to achieve P.Ag/ R.T. Ag, or CCA.
* Ability to travel overnight on an as needed basis.
* A valid driver’s license.
