Senior UX Designer
- Pay Rate: $90.00 – $110.00/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 1 Year
- Location: Spring, TX 77389 (Onsite)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
- Mid to senior-level UX Generalist, who will play a crucial role in the design and development of internal products.
- Responsible for understanding user needs, creating wireframes and prototypes, conducting user research, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
- This role will need to be able to work on multiple projects at once.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research (in a group setting) to understand user needs, process steps, behaviors, and pain points
- Translate insights into clear recommendations and design direction
- Design and optimize end-to-end service experiences, ensuring seamless interactions across all touchpoints
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business goals
- Create journey maps/process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate design ideas
- Develop and maintain design guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency across products
- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve designs
- Foster positive stakeholder relationships and aid with UX evangelism efforts
Qualifications
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking
- Exhibits excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Shows adaptability and openness to feedback
- Displays initiative and proactive approach
- Basic wireframing & prototyping skills required, advanced skills strongly preferred
- Service Design experience strongly preferred
- Ability to facilitate outcome driven workshops strongly preferred
