Controls Coordinator/Administrator
- Pay Rate: $35.00 – $40.00/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 12 months
- Location: Cicero, IL 60804 (Onsite)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Controls Coordinator/Administrator for Information systems which includes Controls Integrity Management System (CIMS), Hydrocarbon Control Practices (HCP), Record Management Guidelines (RMG) and Industrial Control Systems Requirements (ICSR).
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with current policies, standards and procedures.
- Drive continual improvement in the area of Business Systems throughout the plant.
- Assist with audits and special projects that would include plant improvements and efficiency.
- Controls Integrity Management System (CIMS)
- Supports ongoing controls activities (Audit Planning, coordination, controls training for staff and access reviews as needed)
- Corroborate with Fixed Asset Team for independent Annual Fixed Asset Verification and support plant as necessary with asset ledger.
- Maintain System of Management Controls Basic Standards for site.
- Assist in the development of procedures and systems that meet or exceed the control standard.
- Promotes Controls Integrity Management System (CIMS) through policy communications and updates.
- Hydrocarbon Control Practices (HCP)
- Manage the completion of tasks in Calibration Tracking System Database.
- Responsible for notifying plant of any changes in the HCP.
- Steward proposed practices/deviations/questions.
- Maintain inventory list of HCP Fiscal and Related equipment at facility.
- Facilitate equipment calibrations and checks as necessary.
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of scale and meter calibration records.
- Records Management Guidelines (RMG)
- Departmental Record Coordinator: Develop and maintain Controlled Record Index Schedule clean up days for paper and electronic records to ensure a record lifecycle is being managed in accordance with the type of record and retention code.
- Serve as an internal consultant within the plant with respect to business/systems controls and Record Management Guidelines.
- Distribute Communications about Records Management within the team.
- Focal point for all documentation and review processes for Departmental owned contracts.
- Monitors Quality performance and adherence to contract Terms & Conditions.
- Coordinate destruction of records as they exceed retention guidelines.
- Industrial Control Systems Requirements (ICSR)
- Ensure plant requirements are completed as outlined in systems control catalogue.
- Maintain the plant’s ICSR calendar
- Manage local system deviations, ensuring all meet System of Management Control (SMC) exception controls.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information management, Business, Economics, or related degree.
- 5 years’ experience in information and record management, controls, and data analysis
- Excellent written verbal, communication, presentation skills in English
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual, multi-cultural team environment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal influencing skills
- Self-starter with results and schedule orientation
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, including data validation and charting
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Products including Publisher, Word, PowerPoint
