  • Fly In Fly Out Camp accommodations provided
  • Rotation (1 week in-1 weeks out, 11 hours a day)
  • Company Charter Flights provided – Departing from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
  • Contractors are expected to travel to Saskatoon for chartered flights to camp sites

 Raise is currently hiring a Management of Change Coordinator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client is a Canadian global leader in exploration, mine engineering, and environmental protection.

 

Description

The MOC Coordinator is responsible for; managing the MOC database, ensuring there is sufficient detail in the problem statement and the proposed solution to ensure subject matter experts are able to complete a thorough risk review, communicating and presenting MOC’s to site management for approval, assisting personnel with entering MOC’s into the database and moving them forward through each phase, providing weekly reports to site management and site personnel assigned to various stages of the MOC process and providing MOC training.

 

Our clint, utilizes a change management process/system called Management of Change (MOC). The purpose of management of change is to identify, evaluate and control the risks associated with facility change in a systematic, consistent, and auditable manner. This process/system requires that proposed changes to operational facilities are subject to proper justification, review and approval before implementation and appropriate follow-up is carried out so that risk introduced by facility changes will be managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will be the primary driver of the MOC lifecycle. Your core duties will include:
  • System Administration: Manage and maintain the MOC database, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for all stakeholders.
  • Quality Assurance: Review MOC entries to ensure the "problem statement" and "proposed solution" contain sufficient technical detail for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to conduct thorough risk assessments.
  • Facilitation & Communication: Present MOC proposals to site management for approval and act as the liaison between field personnel and executive leadership.
  • Workflow Support: Assist personnel with database entry and navigate them through the various phases of the MOC process (Justification, Review, Approval, and Follow-up).
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute weekly status reports to site management and assigned personnel to ensure no tasks fall behind schedule.
  • Training: Develop and deliver MOC process training to site employees to maintain high standards of compliance and system proficiency.

 Requirements

  • 5 to 8  years of years of experience in high-regulation sectors such as mining, energy, or heavy utilities, demonstrating an understanding of operational facility needs.
  • Experience with working within a formal Management of Change (MOC) framework, specifically focused on identifying and controlling risks associated with physical facility changes.
  • A history of moving projects or requests through multi-stage approval lifecycles (e.g., Justification → Review → Approval → Implementation).
  •  Experience in data analytics and database applications
  • Experience in coordinating and managing meetings with a diverse workforce
  • Excellent oral and communication skills
  • You are a team player with the ability to work independently with safety as a core value
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, or a quality systems related field
  •  Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
