Raise is proactively building a talent pool of Industrial Plumbers for upcoming permanent opportunities with a leading industrial manufacturing organization in the Edmonton region.
We are interested in connecting with candidates at all levels, including:
- Apprentice Level 1–4 Industrial Plumbers
- 5th Period Apprentices
- Journeyperson / Red Seal Industrial Plumbers
These opportunities may support technically complex manufacturing, industrial infrastructure, and mission-critical operational environments.
Potential Responsibilities
- Install commercial and in-house produced plumbing assemblies into industrial or manufacturing equipment
- Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure systems function as designed
- Support plumbing, compressed air, gas fitting, heating, cooling, and vacuum systems
- Participate in construction, installation, maintenance, and equipment modification projects
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting activities
- Assist with equipment testing, commissioning, and operational support
- Maintain maintenance documentation, inventory records, and safety reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and system reliability
- Assist in training and mentoring apprentices and junior team members
- Follow all company safety policies and provincial occupational health and safety regulations
Ideal Background
- Experience working in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or technically complex environments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience with maintenance and preventative maintenance operations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working independently and within team environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
Preferred Qualifications
- Industrial Plumber Trade Certification
- Apprentice Registration in Plumbing or Industrial Plumbing
- Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification considered an asset
- Gas fitting experience considered an asset
- Experience supporting industrial infrastructure, HVAC systems, or mission-critical environments considered an asset
- WHMIS, Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform, or other safety certifications considered an asset
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts and overtime may be required
- Travel to off-site locations may occasionally be required
- Work may be performed indoors, outdoors, and within active industrial or construction environments
- Must be able to safely lift and carry materials and equipment
- Strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE requirements is required
