Specialty Developer – Senior (Lead)
- Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid (5 times a month in office – Every Wednesday and third Friday)
- Pay Rate: $66.35/hr – $78.32/hr
- Contract Length: 6 months with possibility for extension

Responsibilities:
- Design and development – Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Lead the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.
- Strategic planning – Develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align with the bank’s vision, strategy, and business goals. Lead multiple complicated projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.
- Leadership skills—Act as the mobile development team lead and run code-review sessions with the wider team to ensure the project is on track to meet goals. Support and mentor intermediate and senior developers by sharing knowledge, collaborating, and problem-solving.
- Lead technical design and development
- Drive strategic technology planning
- Provide leadership and mentorship
Must-Have Skills
- Strong proficiency in Vue.js and building responsive web applications
- Experience with analytics integration and accessibility best practices
- Familiarity with unit testing
- Knowledge of security tools/processes
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience coaching junior developers
- Independent contributors who are technically strong
- Experience using Snyk, Black Duck, and Fortify
