Document Control Specialist (French/English)
- Pay Rate: $21.00/hour T4
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Location: Toronto, ON M5H 2Y2
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
- Training Schedule: 1-week onsite training
- Work Type: Onsite (equipment will be provided)
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
- Performs day to day operations in the Document Control and Scanning areas.
- Responsible for the sorting, preparation and/or quality assurance and scanning of received documents. Responsible for distinguishing between different types of documents and preparing them in a neat and orderly fashion to ensure that they are scanned efficiently.
- The Document Control Specialist may also be responsible for scanning prepared documents and performing quality assurance by ensuring that the right documents for the proper job are being processed correctly.
- Provide feedback on errors found to Document Control Leads and Supervisors to help inform feedback and coaching sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently perform various day to day activities in Document Control, including but not limited to handling Service Request submissions from other departments, sorting incoming mail, preparing mail, scanning prepared mail and performing QA.
- Provide quality feedback to Leads and Supervisors, to help inform feedback and coaching sessions.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to the needs of a situation.
- Follow and maintain procedures for daily operations and risk management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience in an inbound and return mail processing role (preferred).
- Specific experience working with escalations and Service Requests.
- Working knowledge Document Control procedures and best practices.
