RDL Network Administrator
- Location: Chennai, India – Onsite
- Contract Length: 6-12 Months

Responsibilities:
• Administer and support enterprise and lab network environments, including switching, routing, and connectivity management.
• Configure and maintain VLANs, network segmentation, and access controls.
• Manage firewall rule requests, updates, reviews, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support ClearPass/NAC onboarding processes and network access management operations.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and operational health across supported environments.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, switching, and access-related issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, engineering, and support teams to maintain stable network operations.
• Assist with network documentation, topology updates, operational procedures, and configuration standards.
• Support lab environment setup, maintenance, and connectivity requirements for engineering and R&D teams.
• Participate in operational improvement initiatives, change management, and incident response activities.
Required Qualifications:
• 8-10+ years of experience in network administration or network operations roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
o Switching and routing
o Firewall rule management
o VLAN provisioning
o Network troubleshooting
o ClearPass and/or NAC onboarding
• Experience supporting enterprise or lab-based network environments.
• Familiarity with network security principles and access control management.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and operational support skills.
• Experience working within cross-functional IT and engineering teams.
• Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting R&D, engineering, or testing lab environments.
• Exposure to Aruba ClearPass, Cisco, Palo Alto, or similar enterprise networking technologies.
• Familiarity with automation or scripting for network operations is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of wireless networking and endpoint onboarding processes is preferred.
