Equipment Readiness Technician

We’re Hiring! Our key client is growing like crazy and adding an Equipment Readiness Technician to their team.

Pay Rate: Up to $20.00/hour on W2, depending on experience

Work Type: Onsite – Midland, TX 79706

Work Schedule: 14 days on, 6 days off | Half Day shift, Half Night Shift | 12-hour Shift

Duration: 12-month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.

Additional Details: Standard Driver’s License and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are required.

Job Overview:

The Equipment Readiness Technician is responsible for ensuring equipment is delivered on time and according to operational demands. Improves the reliability of Division equipment assets while increasing asset utilization and efficiency. Reduces the overall Cost of Service Delivery (CoSD).

Responsibilities:

* Assist the Equipment Readiness Lead and Engineer with equipment preparation for jobs.
* Execute assigned Work Orders (WOs), generally involving non-invasive maintenance related to the final preparation of surface equipment, downhole equipment, and ready boxes.
* Verify the status of equipment certifications and calibrations.
* Perform or assist in final function testing, such as calibration, inspection, certification, or verification; this may include Wireline Operational Combination Checks, pressure tests, measurement calibrations, and metrological inspections.
* Execute WOs assigned through the Division’s Computerized Maintenance Management System, ensuring compliance with standard work and maintaining data accuracy and completeness.
* Help prepare and organize documentation for calibrations, function tests, material certifications, inspections, and necessary third-party quality control.
* Prepare equipment and associated critical spares for shipment and staging to pre-determined locations or loading zones.
* Load equipment onto trucks in the absence of base support, operational planning support, or the Equipment Readiness Operator/Technician.
* Adopt a continuous improvement work ethic and participate in initiatives to improve efficiency, productivity, CoSD, and asset utilization through maintenance processes.
* Comply with Division Technology Lifecycle Management standards and the Competency Management System.

Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
* Preferred experience in forklift operation and industrial warehouse environments.
* Ability to operate forklifts (standard and specialty; training provided if needed).
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
* Self-motivation, integrity, and reliability.
* Willingness to learn and flexibility with shifting priorities and schedules.
* Ability to perform frequent lifting of tools up to 50 lbs individually and team lifting up to 100 lbs.
* Capacity for repetitive loading and unloading of equipment into shipping crates.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate forklifts throughout shifts.
* This is an entry-level role.
