Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
- Pay Rate: $18.73/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 7 months with possible extension
- Location: North Kingstown, RI 02852 (Onsite)
- Work Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 2:55 PM – 10:55 PM
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
- The Machine Operator will operate card production equipment to personalize debit and credit cards according to customer specifications.
- This role involves working closely with operators, technicians, and supervisors to meet daily and monthly production goals while maintaining high quality and security standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate card production equipment and perform related tasks
- Confirm work receipt and prioritize workload
- Meet or exceed production and quality standards
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments
- Conduct quality inspections on own work
- Identify production or quality issues and recommend solutions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
- Collaborate with team members to resolve operational issues
- Follow all security, safety, and production policies
- Order supplies as needed
- Attend required training sessions and meetings
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Basic computer and math skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to interpret written, oral, and diagram-based instructions
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of mechanical experience
- 1–3 years of experience with safety rules and maintenance procedures
- Intermediate computer skills
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and operate machinery for 6+ hours per day
