Forecasting and Analytics Advisor

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Include description of duties, minimum qualifications, preferred qualifications, and unique working conditions.
- This role focuses on developing and analyzing customer, volume, and revenue forecasts, performing variance analysis and reporting, and supporting regulatory applications for a gas utility.
- You’ll act as a statistical advisor to internal stakeholders, using tools like Power BI, Python, or Tableau.
Qualifications
- Requires a related degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, business administration or a related field
- 4+ years of forecasting/data experience.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, and knowledge of North American energy markets, Ontario gas regulation, and client’s Gas products.
- Experience in specialized statistical and database tools considered an asset.
