Harvest Truck Driver – Yard Labor
- Pay Rate: $21.00/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 3 months with possible extension and/or conversion
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Some Overtime after normal hours and some weekend work will be needed during the months of October and November
Raise is currently hiring a Harvest Truck Driver-Yard Labor in Columbus, OH on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Dump and load trucks
- Assist with grain handling
- General housekeeping duties
- Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed·
- Always exhibit a professional image
- Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
- Harvest position, seasonal support to end of Harvest in mid to late November.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent is preferred
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
- Commitment to client’s goal of achieving a zero-injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures.
- Willing to work overtime and weekends
- Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
Job Preference
- Preferred experience operating manual transmission trucks.
- Drives Semi truck/trailer to onsite location, no CDL required as no driving will go outside site
- Maintains truck log accounting to state and federal regulations
- Cleans, inspects, and services vehicle
