General Utility (3rd Shift)
- Pay Rate: $19.00/hour on W2
- Contract Length: 12 months with possible extension and/or conversion
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM | candidate must be able to work weekends and holidays, OT
Raise is currently hiring General Utility (3rd Shift) in (Dallas, TX) on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Overview
- The responsibilities of this job are cleaning and filling operator positions in different areas of the plant.
- Good communication and writing skills are required for this position.
- Candidate must be able to work overtime, weekends, rotating shifts and be able to fill the different operator positions throughout the plant after a training period.
Responsibilities
- Area housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and buildings.
- Assist operations personnel, maintenance personnel and supervisors as needed.
- Assist with product handling.
- Movement and operation of forklift, skid-steer and front-end loaders.
- Rail Operations.
Qualifications
- Commitment to client’s goal of achieving a zero-injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures.
- Exhibit regular and prompt attendance.
- Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to:
- Prolonged periods of standing and sitting
- Working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders
- Working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.)
- Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Shovel material and operate a vacuum
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
- Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed.
- Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
