IT Project Coordinator
- Location: Mississauga, ON – Hybrid (3 days a week on site)
- Contract Length: 12 Months

Responsibilities:
- They help plan and track projects from start to finish. That means creating timelines, updating schedules, and making sure tasks are moving forward. They often work with project managers to break big goals into smaller, actionable steps and then monitor progress against those plans.
Coordination and communication
- A big part of the job is acting as the link between different teams—developers, QA, designers, stakeholders, and sometimes clients. They organize meetings, take notes, follow up on action items, and ensure everyone knows what they’re supposed to be doing.
Documentation and reporting
- They maintain project documentation such as status reports, risk logs, meeting minutes, and requirement documents. They also prepare regular updates so leadership and stakeholders can see how the project is progressing.
Task and resource tracking
- They keep track of who is doing what, whether deadlines are being met, and if resources (time, people, tools) are being used effectively. If something is slipping, they flag it early.
Risk and issue management
- When problems come up—delays, bugs, miscommunication—they help log, track, and escalate those issues so they can be resolved quickly.
Experience:
- 5+ Years experience in project control in an IT environment or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum college diploma required in a technology or business-related field
- Knowledge of project management methodology and PMIs PMBOK
- Strong understanding of budgeting, financial and accounting process and concepts
- Experience providing executive summary reports and project status updates
- Experience producing meeting minutes, coordinating action items and follow ups and maintaining RAID logs. Ability to leverage AI tools considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of the ITIL framework
