Position: Administrative Assistant
- Pay Rate: $22 – $25/hour (on W2)
- Contract Length: 6 Months
- Location: Berlin, CT 06037—Hybrid (3 days a week, Wednesday mandatory)
- Work Hours: M-F 8-5
Raise is currently hiring a contract team member on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
This position will support the IT leadership organization and will be responsible for performing administrative tasks including some project management activities. The position requires an individual who possesses initiative, judgment, and a broad knowledge of the Company organization, policies, practices, and procedures.
Specifically, this position will:
- Manage calendars for the IT leadership team, which includes meeting preparation, creating agendas, etc.
- Prepares and processes various forms and reports such as time sheets, expense reports, authorizations for payment, purchase requisitions, vacation schedules, vehicle reports, etc.
- Prepare reports, gather material for inclusion in reports, presentations, or special assignments. Insures that data is complete and in proper format.
- Prepare and review documentation for budgets and forecasts from source documents.
- Gather information required for IT projects, create files, and ensuring information is on the company’s network.
Technical Knowledge/Skills:
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) is required
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all people
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential or sensitive matters
- Demonstrated ability/willingness to take initiative and ability to make sound judgement
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, handle confidential and sensitive matters and follow through on assignments
Education/ Experience:
- Experience: 2 plus years- good learning opportunity
- High school diploma with specialization in business courses or the equivalent
