Application Developer – Expert
- Location: Toronto, ON—Hybrid (4 days on site)
- Pay Rate: $78.15/hr – $92.28/hr
- Contract Length: 12 Months with possibility for extension

Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end project delivery, managing deployments, and ensuring the successful execution of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders, to align technical strategies with business goals. Additionally, you will oversee the adoption and application of the team's core technology stack, which includes Java, the Spring Framework, Vue.js, Docker, Kubernetes, and other modern tools.
Must-Have Skills:
- Software development management experience
- Strong Software Engineering background
- Experience managing technical deliverables and leading cross-functional teams without direct authority, with a strong technical foundation in the relevant technology stack.
- Experience leading onshore/offshore hybrid teams—code reviews, task prioritization, release management
- Expertise with SDLC lifecycle and tools
- Agile software development
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with Monitoring and logging tools like Grafana and the ELK Stack
- A good eye for UX design, with the ability to collaborate closely with UX designers to deliver intuitive user experiences.
- Familiarity with modern SaaS platforms for platform analytics, monitoring, UX, and management (e.g., Google Analytics)
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
- Awareness of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning concepts or frameworks to explore potential innovation opportunities.
