Material Handler I
Pay Rate: Up to $22.00/hour, depending on experience.
Work Location: Onsite – Roosevelt, UT 84066
Work Schedule: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
Duration: 5-month contract with possible extension/conversion based on performance and other factors.
Raise is currently hiring a Material Handler I on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and move materials as needed.
- Assist with mud builds and comfortably work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Prioritize safety in all daily activities, strictly follow safety policies, and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Work effectively within a team dynamic and follow operational directions from supervisors.
- Commit to working flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifts that may exceed 10 hours depending on operational needs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- A valid Driver's license is required.
- Must have a Safeland Certification.
- Proven ability to safely and efficiently operate a forklift.
- Strong track record of following directions and maintaining high safety standards.
- Highly motivated, punctual (on-time), and accessible by phone for schedule changes or updates.
- Willing to work long hours and maintain a positive attitude under demanding conditions.
- Strong collaborative mindset with a focus on both safety and operational efficiency.
