Systems Analyst/ Developer

Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and system requirements.
- Develop business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Support delivery of customer-facing websites, mobile applications, communication platforms, and self-service solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, architects, UX teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Coordinate system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Support system integrations, digital modernization initiatives, and platform enhancements.
- Investigate and resolve production issues while maintaining project documentation.
- Assist with release planning, deployment activities, stakeholder communications, and knowledge transfer.
Mandatory Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or Product Analyst supporting customer-facing digital platforms.
- Minimum 5 years' experience with .NET, Java, and React.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps and Octopus.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and managing functional and non-functional requirements.
- Experience supporting web, mobile, and digital customer platforms.
- Strong experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and requirements sessions.
- Experience creating user stories, business process flows, use cases, functional specifications, and process maps.
- Experience working in Agile, Iterative, or Hybrid delivery environments.
- Experience coordinating UAT, defect management, testing, and release validation.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting customer experience (CX) and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience with mobile applications, websites, self-service platforms, and customer communication solutions.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, or similar reporting platforms.
- Experience with APIs, integrations, and enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of AODA and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping, service design, and user-centered design.
- Public sector, municipal, or transit industry experience.
- Experience managing vendors and third-party solution providers.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, Scrum, or similar certifications are considered assets.
