Raise is currently hiring a Project Coordinator (Senior) on behalf of our client. They're expanding their project delivery team to support natural gas construction projects, making this an excellent opportunity to contribute to inspection coordination, field support, and resource management while working alongside experienced construction and project professionals. Our Client, is one of North America's leading energy infrastructure companies with operations in natural gas, oil and power industries throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

Description

The Project Coordinator provides coordination and project support for inspection management, field resources, and commissioning activities across natural gas construction projects. This role works closely with Construction Management, Inspection, Supply Chain, Training, and Commissioning teams to ensure inspection resources are effectively deployed, training requirements are maintained, and project documentation remains accurate throughout the project lifecycle.

The successful candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and capable of supporting multiple concurrent projects in both office and field environments.

Responsibilities

Inspection & Field Coordination

  • Coordinate inspection activities across multiple natural gas construction projects.
  • Support inspection scheduling and resource planning to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to coordinate vendor surveillance and inspection resources.
  • Provide resource coordination support for Construction Management & Inspection (CM&I) teams.
  • Assist commissioning teams by coordinating inspection and field support resources.
  • Support the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of the 4D Tool.
  • Maintain Learning Management System (LMS) records, training assignments, and compliance tracking.
  • Verify project documentation and maintain accurate project records.

Resource Coordination & Recruitment

  • Support recruitment activities for inspection personnel, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding support.
  • Maintain inspection resource pipelines and workforce availability.
  • Coordinate communication between project teams, inspectors, contractors, and field personnel.
  • Assist with workforce planning and scheduling activities.

Project Support

  • Promote compliance with company safety policies, environmental requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inspection management and project coordination.
  • Work collaboratively across Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Perform additional project coordination responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  • Technical Diploma, Certificate, or University Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or another related discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience supporting natural gas construction, utilities, field operations, or industrial projects.
  • Experience coordinating field activities, inspections, or project resources.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, formatting, and data analysis.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Preferred Skills

  • Natural gas construction or utility industry experience.
  • Previous experience supporting inspection or commissioning programs.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Experience with vendor coordination and contractor management.
  • Industry certifications such as API or other technical certifications.
  • Military technical experience or related industry background.
  • Experience supporting recruiting or workforce planning activities.
