Harvest – Elevator Worker
- Pay Rate: $17.50/hour (on W2)
- Contract Length: 4-month
- Work Schedule: 1st shift | 07:00AM- 03:30PM | 6 day weeks may be needed
Raise is currently hiring a Harvest – Elevator Worker in Kinde, MI 48445 on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader.
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Grain Operations Worker to support daily grain handling, equipment operation, housekeeping, and maintenance activities.
- This role is ideal for candidates who are comfortable working in an industrial environment, can meet physical job requirements, and are willing to work overtime or weekends during peak business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dump and load railcars and trucks.
- Operate a grain dryer safely and efficiently.
- Assist with grain handling operations.
- Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Support general maintenance activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Commitment to maintaining a zero-injury workplace culture.
- Ability to understand and follow all company safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including prolonged standing or sitting, working in confined spaces and at heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, and working in various conditions such as heat, cold, and dust.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs unassisted.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Ability to work independently while remaining flexible enough to work effectively in a team environment.
- Professional appearance and a positive, respectful attitude at all times.
