Business Systems Analyst II
- Location: Toronto, Waterloo, ON & Montreal, QC – Hybrid (onsite once per week)
- Pay Rate: $55.87/hr – $64.58/hr
- Contract Length: 12 Months with Strong possibility for extension

Responsibilities:
- Analyze and define user needs and translate them into system requirements/epics/user stories/data mapping documents.
- Work with the team to conduct analysis on business requests with a focus on the links between processes and systems throughout the organisation.
- Create and/or provide comments into internal and external communications and user documentation.
- Review and provide comments on business and technical documentation.
- Conduct Business Acceptance testing
- Support business on the roll-out of what has been developed with a focus on end-to-end validation.
- This includes the occasional night/weekend implementation for business validation
Must Have Skills:
- 2 to 5 years of progressive experience as a Business & Systems Analyst.
- Business acceptance testing. Skilled in test planning/execution and understanding the outcomes.
- Experience with technology and the ability to self-learn software.
- Knowledge of relevant business, processes, systems, and capabilities.
- Good understanding of privacy, compliance, control, and security requirements.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools
- Proficient with Excel
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in supporting customer-facing operations is an asset.
- Bilingual French/English is an asset.
- Knowledge of financial services industry is an asset.
- Knowledge of Group Benefits and Group Medical Underwriting is an asset.
Education:
- Post Secondary degree/diploma in business or technology or equivalent experience.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work and demonstrate cooperation in a matrixed team environment.
- Comfortable with data requirements and related data activities
- Strong interpersonal / relationship building skills with technical and business personnel.
- Good multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
